Alumni: Armend Morina – RIT Kosovo (A.U.K) class of 2009
Armend Morina graduated from RIT Kosovo (A.U.K) in 2009 with concentrations in Management and Entrepreneurship. During his studies, Armend worked within the A.U.K Presidents’ Office, RIT Center for Energy and Natural Recourses, and also in the Library. After his graduation in 2009, Armend was awarded a scholarship from the Ministry of Education of Italy to complete his Master Studies from Bologna University – Faculty of Economy; with a concentration in International Economic Innovation, Development and Change. While in Italy, he was privileged to contribute in a peace program with Rondine Cittadella Della Pace and learn the Italian language. After his experience in Italy, Armend returned to Kosovo where he started to work with UNICEF Innovations Lab Kosovo, UNDP and PEN for another two years all together. He recently moved to New York and started a new career there. He is working in a marketing company as a Training Coordinator for a Union- 32BJ Employer Relations Department.
Regarding his experience at RIT Kosovo (A.U.K), Armend states: “RIT Kosovo (A.U.K) has given me the chance to grow both on professional as well as in personal level. Now that I encounter real life challenges, one understands the significance that your University life might bring to you. Here, I am referring to our desire to do as well as possible with your classes, participate in extracurricular activities and planning your future studies/career”. Morina also states that the struggles, challenges, and confusion that we get as we walk through a path which obviously is never to be forgotten. “Therefore, specialize in building sustainable prospects which might guarantee our successes. Luckily, my educational and career milestones have been generally accomplished to a substantial extent”. He finishes his statement by motivating to stay firm both current and future RIT Kosovo (A.U.K) students and to joint social life activities that one has passion about.
